About Dr. Dave

Dr. Dave has devoted his career to helping others achieve improved fitness.  Dr. Dave attended Boise State University (Go Broncos!) on a wrestling scholarship and went on to earn his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education.  He later earned a Masters in Exercise Science from Boise State and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University.  Dr. Dave's Thesis and Dissertation both examined the various effects of strength training on the young athlete.   In addition to being an All-American and Academic All-American collegiate wrestler, Dr. Dave also set the Idaho state bench press record.  He was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Southern Methodist University and a professor at the collegiate level.  He is currently the President and founder of Stronger Sports Science Research.  Dr. Dave has written 10 books and has lectured around the world for the past 30 years.  He holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Nike, and the United States Board of Labor.  Dr. Dave has coached thousands of college athletes, over 30 Olympians (5 Gold Medalists) and countless professionals in a variety of sports.
